Professional Products
Our Professional Products group concentrates in the development and commercialization of cyanoacrylate products for use in wound closure and wound care within a broad range of surgical and medical disciplines. These products address the needs of acute and non acute hospital markets, surgery centers and physician office based markets and in a large number of specialties. We also serve the long term care markets, dentistry and oral care, and veterinary medicine. In order to serve our markets better we have divided this product group into three distinctive product categories. They are as follows:
Surgical Solutions
Our Surgical Solutions platform serves to develop and commercialize products designed to improve clinical outcomes in the surgical OR suite and Emergency Room settings. Our flagship product for this category is a topical skin adhesive which we have branded SurgiSeal™.
Wound Management
Our Wound Management platform serves to develop and commercialize products designed to improve clinical outcomes and increase patient comfort as it relates to acute or chronic, wounds with moderate amounts of exudate. Our flagship product for this category is an advanced microbial sealant which we have branded DermaSeal™.
Infection Prevention
Our Infection Prevention platform serves to develop and commercialize products designed to reduce or eliminate the incidence of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI's). Our flagship product for this category is an microbial sealant which we have branded FloraSeal™.
